A special service took place on Thursday 26th March 2026 at 7.00pm in Coylton, marking the beginning of Ayrshire: Kyle Community Church of Scotland.

The service of union formally brought together the congregations to form Ayrshire: Kyle Community Church of Scotland. During the same service, the Rev Dr Alwyn Landman was introduced to the charge as minister.

The service was led by the Moderator of Presbytery, Mrs Gillian Lynn, who shared a reflection on 1 Corinthians 12: 12 - 26.

As Ayrshire: Kyle Community Church of Scotland moves forward, there is a shared sense of hope and purpose, with confidence in all that God will continue to do through this new united church.
