The Vacancy Procedure Committee supports congregations during a period of vacancy and assists with the processes connected to interim moderation.

The remit of the Vacancy Procedure Committee is:

• to provide support and advice to congregations during a vacancy.
• to assist the Clerk in the appointment of Interim Moderators.
