Ayr: St Columba’s Church will host a special Christian Aid evening on Wednesday 21 October at 7pm, offering an opportunity to hear first-hand about Christian Aid’s work in South Sudan.

The Very Rev Dr John Chalmers will be in conversation with Christian Aid partners from South Sudan, who will share something of their experiences and the life-transforming work being carried out in the world’s youngest country.

The evening will also explore the important role played by the Churches in the peace process in South Sudan, and hear about the signs of hope that continue to emerge amid very challenging circumstances.

Everyone is warmly invited to attend, and refreshments will be served.
