11 Elders.

Services are held each Sunday at 11.30am. Four times a year we join with our linked charge, Gatehouse and Borgue, for worship, using buildings alternately, and sharing in refreshments and fellowship afterwards. On the last Sunday of each month a soup lunch, prepared and provided by volunteers, is offered and all are welcome. During Advent, brunch (bacon, egg, sausage on a roll ) is provided on three Sundays and on the fourth, the Family Service Sunday, mince pies and shortbread are enjoyed by all worshippers.

No service is held on Christmas morning but an invitation is extended to all to attend the Watch Night Service at 11.30pm and the Christmas morning service at 10.00am in our linked charge at Gatehouse Church.

A Carols and Mulled Punch evening is held at Christmas in the Village Hall with donations to The Salvation Army , Dumfries.

The Lord's Supper is celebrated twice yearly in April and November with a retiring offering for Mercy Ships.

Two of our members, Jim and Juzia Patterson, have worked with Mercy Ships for nearly 35 years. Jim trained as a Marine Engineer and has led the Marine Operations Department of Mercy Ships in overseeing the building of Global Mercy, the organisation's first purpose built hospital ship, for work in Africa.

An active Guild with 25 members meets in the Church Hall at 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of the month during the winter. The National Strategy and Theme are followed and the Guild projects are supported.

Our Church magazine is a joint one, with our linked charge, and is distributed to members by our elders six times a year.

Flowers for the chancel vases are donated by volunteers on a rota basis and distributed after the service to members who are experiencing sad or happy events.
