South East Ayrshire

South East Ayrshire Parish Church of Scotland is a union of Lugar, Muirkirk, New Cumnock, Old Cumnock Old and Old Cumnock Trinity.

Lugar
Each Sunday our morning worship is delivered at 10am. From January 2026 this will be 9.45 am. Services generally last an hour. We have communion four times during the year and are at the heart of the Lugar community. Our church serves the additional areas of Logan and Cronberry. Our church is currently updating its website and we look forward to welcoming anyone to our beautiful church which dates to 1867 and is a fine example of a rural parish.

Old Cumnock
Times of Worship : Sunday 11:30
Bible Study : 3rd Thursday of the month 7:00pm

New Cumnock
We meet for worship at 11am each Sunday morning, children join us for the first part of the service before leaving for Sunday School. We like all kinds of hymns from traditional to modern. Our worship times are quite informal. Every week, people share in the Bible readings and sometimes lead the prayers. Tea and coffee is served in the Church Hall after the service and people love to stay and blether!
