About Dunscore
Dunscore Parish Church is situated in a prominent position in the village of Dunscore which is 11 miles NW of Dumfries. The present building is over 200 years old and underwent a major upgrade in 2017.
Our minister is the Rev Mark RS Smith who we share with our sister church in Moniaive. We have a small and active congregation who help run our church as an Eco Congregation within our Fair Trade village.
We run a monthly “ALL Together” service for all ages as well as a KIKS (Kids in Kirk) group for older young people. We hold regular weekly bible study evenings.
Members of our congregation help run monthly Sunday services for a nearby Care Home.
We also host the local Heritage Centre within the church.(https://dunscoreheritage.org)
There are lots more details of the church and the Heritage on the websites
