Beith Parish Church of Scotland

About Beith

We are a friendly congregation.

We meet every Sunday for Morning worship at 11am.

The last service of the month is less formal-we attempt inter-generational worship.

On the third Sunday of the month we have a prayer meeting in the hall starting at 10am.

In addition, on the first Sunday of the month we have CafĂ© Church, which begins at 09.15am, with breakfast: we then have a multi-generational service at 9.30am, which lasts about 30 minutes: often people, will have some more breakfast at the end of the service.

We have a small tent in the Sanctuary, with books and toys, where young children are welcome to play during the service. There is always a creche leader available to help to augment this experience if necessary.

If sufficient number of children attend an impromptu Sunday School would be provided in the Church Hall.

On the last Saturday of every month (except, July, August and December), we have Messy Church. This is designed with young children in mind (from 0-11 approx). It begins at 4pm with games and crafts in the church Hall. At 5pm we go over to the Church for a short time of worship. At 5.30pm we reconvene in the Hall for a meal. Generally speaking families begin to leave between 6-6.30pm.
