Ayr Newton Wallacetown

Ayr: Newton Wallacetown Church of Scotland

About Ayr Newton Wallacetown

Newton Wallacetown Church was formed by the successful union of Newton-on-Ayr Church and Wallacetown Church in May 2010. We meet in the former Newton-on-Ayr Church buildings located on Main Street, within walking distance of Ayr town centre. Around 80+ people gather for worship each Sunday morning. Sunday services are held at 11am combining the best of traditional and modern worship.

Music is provided by our Musical Director/Organist who is often accompanied by a Praise band, led by Joyce Fenton. Between them, they fit the music to the theme of worship. We also use multi-media which certainly enhances the worship experience.

Our service starts at 11am in the main church building, all ages come together for the first part of the service, which usually starts with any church notices, some time of worship and a kids talk. The children are then invited to go to their activities in Sunday School. If you have children under 3 we have a creche facility available from the start of the service but you are welcome to join in the first part of the service.
